John Willie Gibson

Retired Captain John W. Gibson, 85 of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 3pm EST at Rehoboth Baptist Church, Valley, AL. Pastor Karanja Story is the Eulogist.

He is survived by six daughters: Sharon Gibson (Van Don) Williams Of Jonesboro, Ga, Terry Gibson of New York, Ny, Anita Gibson of New York, Michelle Gibson of Pennsylvania, PA, Tonia Franklin of Long Island, Ny Vanessa (Mike) Edmonson of Kinston, NC; five sons: Gregory (Stacie) Gibson of Lanett, Al, Tracey Blue of Brooklyn, NY, Marcus Stokes of Selma, Al, Paul Blue of Brooklyn, NY and the Late Tony Blue of Brooklyn, NY. 17 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great grandchildren
