Jack Phillips

Mr. Jack “Jackie Boy” Phillips, 71 of LaFayette, AL passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

Jack was born to the union of the the late John Ed Phillips and Jessie Mae Ware. He departed this life to be with his late fiancée Helen Billingsley and son Enrice “Mexico” Billingsley.

Jack was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings (sister) Beatrice Williams,(brothers) John Will, Henry, and Leroy Wickerson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Six- daughters; Bettie Avery Woody(Tommie),Shbresha Billingsley, Kathy Wright, Julia K. Phillips, Maurine Moore(Robert), Kirenda Billingsley all of LaFayette, AL; Four- sons; Marshall Briskey(Angela), Adrian Billingsley; LaFayette, AL, Jeremiah Spence(Naimah);Opelika, AL, Jermaine Darwin; Montgomery, AL; (Siblings) Vanessa Allen(Henry) Mississippi; Peppi Wickerson(Annie), Willa Wickerson, Alvin Wickerson,Illinois; Theresa Wickerson,Georgia; Cynthia Carson(LeeKwan), Wisconsin; a special granddaughter Ashla Moore; thirty-six grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
