Brian Patterson

Brian Carlos Patterson 39, was born on December 27, 1981 in Lagrange, Ga to Annette Rosie Patterson and Arthur Sheppard.

He was raised in Lagrange, Ga  by his mother Rosa and his stepfather Adell Dollar. He graduated from Lagrange High school with the Class of 1999 and was a member of the band.

Brian worked many years as a over the road truck driver and recently as a Driver with Fairburn Ready Mix. He loved his children, old school music, fishing and old cars. Brian never met a stranger and always had a joke to keep you laughing. Brian was very loving, caring and supportive to both family and friends. He would go out of his way to help those in need. He was a huge fan of the Florida Gators and loved being by the water. He was also a member of Golden Rule Lodge #11, PHA of Alabama.

Brian passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at East Alabama Heath in Opelika, Al.  When Brian gained his wings, he joined both parents and his stepfather in heaven. He was also proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Odessa Patterson and paternal grandparents Charlie Sheppard and Ella Mae Delaney.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving other half, La'Shawndria J. Reid with whom he shared one daughter Aubreigh Rosa Patterson. He also leaves his three sons Brian Carlos Patterson Jr; Camryn Deon Patterson and Brycen Kyle Bellamy; and a special daughter, who he helped raise, Tajasha Harrison and her son Caiden Bailey. His siblings: Antonio (Brenyerna) Patterson; Hattie Patterson; Jeremiah (Natasha Jackson) Patterson; Omar (Marie) Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.
