The Legacy of Mr. Christopher Lee Wilkerson began on January 15, 1956 in Chambers County . He was born to the late Mr. Tommy Louis and Mrs. Bessie Mae Wilkerson.
Chris confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Hall Memorial CME Church located in Valley, Alabama; later he attended Sweet Hope CME Church. Chris was a graduate of the Class of 1974 of Rehobeth High School. He worked for many years at West Point Pepperrell. He later dedicated his Life’s Work to helping other in construction.
In the early morning of October 21st, 2017, the trumpet blew and Chris threw in the towel. The Angel of God arrived to take him to his Heavenly Home. Peace be Still.
Chris was preceded in death by his Parents ; one brother, Walter James Wilkerson and one sister, Linda Jo Marshall.
He leaves to cherish his memories four children: Yulandria Holloway of Lanett, Alabama, Adrian Williams (Shaquuanna) of LaGrange, Georgia, Latoskie T. Williams (Nikki) and Otavia J. Williams of Valley, Alabama; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; six brothers and sisters: Mary Walton of Atlanta,Georgia, Tommy G. Wilkerson (Shirlene) of Valley, Alabama, David Wilkerson (Rena) of Valley, Alabama, Margaret Ishler (Alan) of Lanett, Alabama Effie Wilkerson of Riverdale, Georgia and Johnny Wilkerson of Valley, Alabama; two uncles: Tim Floyd and Willie C. Floyd; three aunts: Betty Floyd, Amanda Floyd and Diane Floyd; two special friends, Homer Jennings and Ryan Nakia Winston (Sophronia, Nykyra and Shania) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving friends.
